A legacy brand, given two new reasons to stay relevant

New, without losing what made it trusted
Mapro didn't need to be reinvented. It needed to be carried forward — a name people already trust, asked to do more without doing anything that felt unfamiliar. That's a much harder brief than launching something from zero. Two verticals, one direction: Mazaana Chocolates as the packaged, retail-facing side of the brand, and Mapro Garden as the on-ground, experiential side. Different formats, different decisions day to day, but both needed to feel unmistakably like the same brand wearing two different outfits. So the work spanned FMCG product development, menu strategy, staff training, and brand design together — not as four separate projects, but as one continuous decision about what Mapro gets to become next without stopping being Mapro.RESULTSFamiliar enough to trust, new enough to noticeMazaana's chocolate-coated dates, paan, almonds, cashews, and raisins didn't need a gimmick to stand out on a shelf — they needed flavours and formats that felt genuinely new to an Indian palate while still reading as premium and trustworthy at first glance. On the Mapro Garden side, the same instinct applied to the in-person experience — menu, training, and design decisions all built to feel like a natural extension of a name people already associate with quality, not a separate brand bolted onto it.The result is two brand extensions that can grow on their own terms, while still clearly belonging to the same legacy Mapro has spent years building.Next caseBrewzo© 2026 TarqeebHomeAboutWorksBlogContact
